Smoking weed has been a controversial topic for many years now. Some people see it as a dangerous and harmful habit, while others see it as a harmless hobby. So, which is it? Is smoking weed really as bad as the haters say?

Let's take a look at some of the most common arguments against smoking:

Smoking is bad for your health.

There's no denying that smoking isn’t great for you health. Same as binge watching television on the couch or fucking running around or eating fast food. Smoking anything can cause a variety of health problems, including cancer, lung disease, and heart disease. However, it's important to remember that not everyone who smokes will get these diseases. In fact, most weed smokers don't develop any serious health problems as a result of their smoking. Just ask Hannah’s dad who is in his late 70’s and smokes weed every day. I don’t know about you, but 70 years is a good lifetime on this crazy planet.

Also with the Green Blazer's RAW cones you actually reduce the amount of smoke that is going into your lungs. There is a study that shows that hand rolled cigarettes actually have a 95 percent slower burn rate then the manufactured cigarrettes (https://doi.org/10.1136/tc.12.4.406). They were also less likely to cause fires... dope sauce.

Smoking is expensive.

Yes, smoking can be expensive. A pack of weed cigarettes can cost upwards of $6, and if you smoke a lot, that can really add up. However, there are ways to save money on smoking if you're willing to put in the effort. For example, you can buy from the Green Blazer website which has the lowest prices for RAW pre-rolled cones and fill them yourself with any choice of herb versus buying packed pre-roll or you can choose to smoke using a different method.

    Smoking weed is "addictive".

This is a common argument against smoking, but actually there is very little research that shows that weed is addictive.  In fact, most people who smoke weed don't have any problem quitting when they want to.

Smoking is bad for the environment.

Smoking does produce a lot of waste, including pre-rolled butts and packaging. However, there are ways to reduce your impact on the environment if you're concerned about it. For example, you can recycle your cigarette butts, and you can buy cigarettes that come in less packaging.

RAW also has a KeepItGreen project where you can recycle the unused paper and papers. The Green Blazer wants to keep our environment green so we encourage our users to reach out if they have questions about their local recycling.

    Smoking weed is illegal.

This is a valid concern, but in many states and countries, smoking weed is now legal. In fact, it's estimated that there are over 25 million people around the world who currently smoke weed.

So, is smoking really as bad as they say? No, not necessarily. While there are some risks associated with smoking, it's important to remember that not everyone who smokes will experience these risks. If you're concerned about the risks of smoking, there are ways to reduce them. And, if you enjoy smoking, there's no reason to give it up!
